As much as Whitney deserved a shot up here i think it was a wise choice sending him back down. Putting him on the top line was asking too much, but they couldn't really break up the chemistry of the other lines so that leaves no place for him; hopefully JJ produces on the top line.

Good blog Todd. Hopefully Josefson can do something positive today. Finally getting a shot with some real linemates hope the kid doesn't blow it. Have to assume he's been chomping at the bit to get a game should bring some energy, timing could be an issue though. Just hope no old guys have any injury problems with the cold temperature. Jagr already voiced some concerns especially because he got hurt in the last one he was in.
